click photo to grab my favorite alphabet cookie cutters
Step 1: Vegetable oil in a pan on low/medium heat
Step 2: Open the can of pillsbury dough and flatten out one biscuit
Step 3: Use the cookie cutter to cut out a shape
Step 4: Place the dough in the oil to fry. (I always use a scrap piece of dough first to make sure your oil is hot enough or not too hot)
You'll want to make sure your donut isn't raw inside and cooking too fast on the outside. (This means your oil is too hot)
Step 5: Make your frosting by mixing powdered sugar and milk together. i like mine thick. Just play with the consistency by adding more milk or powdered sugar. (I like mine thick so it doesn't just fall off the donuts)
Step 6: Frost those bad boys. I usually hold my donut and dip my donut in the frosting. Easiest way and makes the frosting go on nice and even.
